Southside Baptist Church is about "Building Lives on God's Word." And that's what SBCJTeens is about, too. We desire to see the lives of teenagers built on God's Word. We don't believe that God built His church for the sake of entertainment. Though we want to get teenagers to come to church and keep them in church, entertainment is not how that's going to happen. Instead, we believe that through the teaching and preaching of the Word of God, lives can be truely changed.

During our Sunday School class, we open the Bible and learn real-life lessons that God has for us. We wish to see teenagers not only grow in their knowledge of the Word of God, but to come to know Jesus Christ as their savior and to grow in their relationship with Him.

We try to schedule monthly activities to allow our class to have time to have some fun together. Usually, we get together after a Sunday evening service to have some food and play games. This is a great opportunity for our class to fellowship and have fun outside of the classroom setting.
